New Kindergarten at Vila do Porto, Santa Maria Island, Azores

The Government of the Azores decided, on 28 October 2011, to authorize the opening of the public tender contract for the construction of the daycare of Vila do Porto, with the maximum price set at € 1.336.000,00 and 10 months for construction. The nursery, with a designed capacity of 50 children, will be based on the rehabilitation of a number of classified buildings within the historic district of Vila do Porto.
